The KCPOA Board is endorsing District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer in her re-election campaign. As of right now, she is running unopposed and has the support of our fellow law enforcement agencies.

Our decision was based on her actions during her first term. She was a strong voice at the county and state levels for crime victims and faced issues in our criminal justice system. She continued to support law enforcement and advocate for the safety of officers. Her community reputation is strong and she has been responsive to collaboration with Probation. We are happy to endorse a DA who puts victims and the safety of the community first.
